4:05 PM ET – Sara Carter, Fox News Contributor and Investigative Reporter and David Schoen, Civil Liberties Attorney, are here to talk about the upcoming hearings with Strzok, Wray and Rosenstein. Nunes’ deadline came and went yesterday and the DOJ has still not supplied the documents. Sara and David talk about what to expect and how much longer the American people should be forced to overlook missed deadlines and lies from public servants:

Nunes demanded answers to several questions in his letter to Rosenstein:

Who- you or Director Wray – is responsible for compliance with the Committee’s subpoenas and requests that have been issued to the DOJ, including the FBI?

Did the FBI use informants against members or associates of the Trump campaign and if so, how many informants were used and how much money was spent on their activities?

DOJ spokeswoman, Sarah Isgur Flores, said the DOJ’s response to the committee stands and referred any statement to the letter sent to Nunes by the FBI on Friday.

A congressional official who works closely with the committees said the DOJ’s response is unacceptable and noted that Nunes, along with other lawmakers, are not in agreement with turning over the documents to the ‘Gang of Eight’ which they say will severely restrict who can view it.

“They want to give it to the Gang of Eight, but this is not Gang of Eight information,” the congressional official said. “If they put this at the Gang of Eight level, the lawmakers who view it won’t be able to share any of it with the rest of their committee or investigators. The DOJ is trying to say we gave them a briefing on the documents, but what we subpoenaed are the documents. We did not subpoena them for a briefing.”

4:30 PM ET – Chairman of the Freedom Caucus Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina and Gubernatorial Candidate, Rep. Ron DeSantis of Florida, are here to discuss what they plan to do about the need for clarity on documents from the DOJ and FBI. With House Intel Chair Devin Nunes demanding answers on the documents, and Peter Strzok appearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, there is a serious effort to get answers. Chairman Goodlatte will also be holding a hearing for Christopher Wray on Thursday before the House Judiciary as well.

Mr. Nunes had given Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein until 5 p.m Monday to hand over documents related to the confidential informants. He had asked the department to answer questions about how many informants it used and how much money was spent on their activities.

But the Justice Department did not meet that deadline. In a letter sent Monday to Mr. Nunes, Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd said the Justice Department has already complied with his request.

“Your letter asks whether the Department and FBI ‘intend to obey the law,’” Mr. Boyd wrote. “We believe that is exactly what the Department and the FBI have been doing.”

Mr. Boyd said that the department’s efforts to meet the committee’s demands while protecting “the integrity of an ongoing investigation. (h/t Washington Times)

5:05 PM ET – DC McAllister, of the Daily Wire and PJ Media, and currently authoring a book with our friend Dan Bongino on Trump and the Russia Investigation, and Geraldo Rivera, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of The Geraldo Show, are here to debate the disgusting ways of the left that have been going on for far too long. What used to be shocking is now considered the new norm. Whether it’s Madonna saying she wants to blow up the White House, DeNiro telling the President to F-Off, or Maxine Waters advocating violence against Trump administration members wherever and whenever they can – and people clap and cheer. The lie the dems are living off of now is purely disgusting; children in cages is the new mantra and it’s nothing but a bunch of lies. From DC’s latest article on the issue:

Parents who bring their children to this nation to commit a crime are devaluing our laws, and those who want to excuse them have also devalued our laws. Parents who bring their children to our borders illegally are just like parents who take their children in tow as they rob a grocery store. The consequences are the same. The police show up at the store, they arrest the parents, and the department of social services takes the kids away — as it should. The parents have committed a crime, and they have neglected/abused the child by making them party to a crime. We don’t tolerate this within our borders, and we shouldn’t tolerate it at our borders.

When a parent is taken into custody for violating the protective laws of a great nation like ours, their children are taken from them, just as they would be in other criminal scenarios. Why would anyone want a child to remain with a neglectful parent, one who has brought an innocent along with them to commit a crime? If they are indeed seeking asylum, that must be determined, and the child kept in safety from the neglectful parent until the authorities deem they are not lawbreakers — as is the practice in all neglectful/abusive family situations.
