4:05 PM ET – Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and author of the upcoming book, Trump’s America, is here to talk about Trump’s moving speech today at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, and the shocking misfocus of the mainstream media, as usual:

What matters is, the economy is growing, conservative judges are being approved, North Korea is negotiating, the Iranians are being corralled,” said Gingrich. “These are big things that will change history. And that is the kind of typical Washington story by liberals who frankly don’t want to talk about the next 100,000 jobs. Don’t want to talk about what is happening in the country.”

Gingrich also discussed his upcoming book, “Trump’s America: The Truth about Our Nation’s Great Comeback,” which will hit the shelves in June.

The former speaker Tuesday drew parallels between Trump and late President Ronald Reagan, explaining that like Reagan, Trump believes in operating from a position of strength and in providing firm leadership.

“Reagan wanted to defeat the Soviet Empire and liberate Eastern Europe and work with Pope John Paul II and with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to achieve that goal,” said Gingrich. “President Trump came in, you know, the thing that is remarkable about Trump, he is very consistent in his strategic goals.” (H/T NEWSMAX)

4:30 PM ET – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), has a common sense approach to immigration, something that RINOS like McConnell and Ryan fail to recognize. Today he joins to explain the bill he has that would full fund the President’s effort for the border wall. His bill is called Secure America’s Future Act, and is co-sponsored by Congressmen McCaul, Labrador, and McSally.

This bill bolsters enforcement of existing immigration law, makes important reforms to our legal immigration programs, secures the border, and provides a legislative solution for the current beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.): “The best way to address the issues pertaining to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and provide meaningful reform to restore the integrity of our immigration system is not through a discharge petition. This discharge petition would lead to an unbalanced approach and is likely to ignore the tough issues that need to be addressed to prevent parents from bringing their children to the United States illegally in the future.”

5:05 PM ET – Kimberly Strassel, is an American author, journalist, and member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board. She writes a weekly conservative column, “Potomac Watch”, which appears on Fridays. Last week she broke the news that there was an FBI mole within the Trump campaign and that the FBI did everything they could to bring Trump down from the word go.

The Department of Justice lost its latest battle with Congress Thursday when it agreed to brief House Intelligence Committee members about a top-secret intelligence source that was part of the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign. Even without official confirmation of that source’s name, the news so far holds stunning implications.
