posted by Hannity Staff - 5.17.18

4:05 PM ET – Gregg Jarrett, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of the upcoming release, The Russian Hoax, The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump and David Schoen, Civil Liberties Attorney discuss the following:

**A mole in the Trump campaign suspected to be Stefan Halper

**The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson who said that Mueller’s prosecution of the longtime political consultant on charges of money laundering and failing to register as a foreign agent for Ukraine was “squarely” within the authority that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein granted to Mueller last May.

**What is the DOJ hiding on Daniel Richman, the man who leaked information on Trump for his friend at the FBI, James Comey?

5:05 PM ET – Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is here to talk about real choices and options for a balanced budget, that mean balancing not raising our debt.

He also spoke privately to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) about the budget in March, when he threatened to shut down the government for a second time this year over spending increases.

“This budget vote will be a litmus test for Republicans who claim to be conservative, but are only too happy to grow the federal government and increase our debt,” Paul said in an emailed statement.

Paul’s budget would cut federal spending by more than $13 trillion over the next 10 years when compared to current spending levels. It would make no cuts to Social Security but would direct the federal government to make major reductions in spending, without specifying the cuts.

The Kentucky Republican is also seeking to expand health savings accounts. (H/T Politico)

5:30 PM ET – Kent Terry, brother of slain Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry and Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) House Oversight and Government Reform Committee member are joining the show today to call on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to release the unredacted documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform…

On March 6th 2018, Kent Terry joined Fox and Friends and urged President Trump to reopen the investigation into Fast and Furious.

On March 7th 2018, the Department of Justice released the following statement:

Today, the Department of Justice entered into a conditional settlement agreement with the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and will begin to produce additional documents related to Operation Fast and Furious. The conditional settlement agreement, filed in federal court in Washington D.C., would end six years of litigation arising out of the previous administration’s refusal to produce documents requested by the Committee.

In announcing the settlement, Attorney General Sessions said:

“The Department of Justice under my watch is committed to transparency and the rule of law. This settlement agreement is an important step to make sure that the public finally receives all the facts related to Operation Fast and Furious.”
