**MELANIE TAKES THE STAGE TO ADDRESS THE NATION

4:05 PM ET – David Schoen, Civil Liberties Attorney and Sara Carter, Fox News Contributor and Investigative Reporter, discuss the Manafort case and the brief by TS Ellis, the postponement of the Inspector General’s report by Michael Horowitz, and the recommendation that Attorney General, who has done nothing to help Congress move these cases forward, should be held in contempt.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes revealed Sunday that Congress will hold Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt for refusing to turn over classified information the committee has requested, he stated in a phone interview with Fox and Friends.

The Department of Justice also shot back on Sunday, releasing the letter sent to Nunes on May 3, which addressed the classified information Nunes had requested. It appears from the letter Nunes had asked for information on a specific individual, not yet named and considered by DOJ to be a very valuable person for a counterintelligence operation. 5:05 PM ET Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, Rep. Mark Meadows, drops by to discuss the news over the last few days with the resignations of James Baker and Lisa Page after their corrupt behavior while working at the FBI and his support of holding AG Sessions accountable for his inaction:

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) warned Tuesday of “consequences well beyond contempt of Congress” if Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials continue withholding documents in defiance of the subpoena issued by Congress. The documents relate to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server.

Meadows didn’t specify what those consequences would be, but Congress does have the constitutional authority to jail or fine individuals who defy congressional subpoenas to produce documents or provide testimony. The last time Congress jailed an individual for defying a subpoena was 1935. (h/t Lifezette)

5:30 PM ET – Christina Hagan is running for office in Ohio, she is a strong conservative, a Trump supporter, a new mom and a millennial; not your typical combination. She comes from meager beginnings and wants to give the people of her state a chance to succeed on their own merit, not on the government dole. She believes in freedom and truth and is dedicated to serving her beloved state of Ohio. She has been endorsed by Freedom Caucus member Rep. Jordan, Dr. Sebastian Gorka and Women for Trump, just to name a few. A little about Christina:

In 2011, while still waiting tables at two restaurants, coaching young women at her alma mater and finishing her degree, the 22-year-old was chosen to serve the 50th House District in Ohio. Representative Hagan became the youngest female ever to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives. Hagan proves time and again that she is the people’s choice, increasing her margin of victory from 20 points in 2012, to 35 in 2014, and by 46 points in her most recent landslide victory—outperforming every federal and state candidate in her district including President Trump and Congressman Renacci. The people have spoken.

After her initial election, Representative Hagan graduated with a degree in Business from Malone University to the cheers of her loving family, as she became the first in her family to obtain a college degree.
