4:05 PM ET – Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, made the following opening statement on the House floor releasing the transcript of Nellie Ohr’s interview by the Committee on the Judiciary, joint with the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
Below are the remarks as prepared.

Rep. Doug Collins: Mr. Speaker, thus far I have released four transcripts of interviews from the Judiciary Committee’s investigation into the apparent wrongdoing at the FBI and Justice Department. Today, I am releasing a fifth.

The American people deserve transparency. They deserve to know what transpired in the highest levels of the FBI at the origin of the probe of President Trump’s campaign.

Mr. Speaker, I request the link www.dougcollins.house.gov/nellieohr be placed in the record so the American people can review the transcript of Nellie Ohr’s interview.

I will continue to work to release as many transcripts as possible. The American people deserve the truth.
Key Findings:

• Former Fusion GPS contractor Nellie Ohr told Congress in October that she “favored” Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election.
• A transcript of Ohr’s testimony was published Thursday.
• Nellie Ohr, whose husband is DOJ official Bruce Ohr, detailed her work for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the Steele dossier.
• Nellie Ohr said that a Ukrainian lawmaker was one of Fusion GPS’s sources.

4:30 PM ET – John Solomon, Executive Director of The Hill, has been breaking stories all week about the corruption of dealmaking that has transpired on the Clinton’s and Obama’s watch, the fallout from the Mueller report, the calls for Adam Schiff to resign, and the

Now that we know for sure that special counsel Robert Mueller, the U.S. intelligence community and Republicans on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees found no evidence that President Trump conspired with Russia to hijack the 2016 election, it is worth stepping back and evaluating the electoral impact of one of the greatest faux scandals in history.

Before doing that, though, let’s summarize what we now know about the origins of the investigation.

Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee asked their law firm, Perkins Coie, to hire the political opposition research firm Fusion GPS to dig up dirt during the 2016 election on Trump and Russia. Fusion, in turn, hired former British intelligence operative Christopher Steele, who turned to a “retired” Russian intelligence officer in the United States to get most of this dirt.

Steele took his information to the FBI and senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr to interject it into law enforcement circles and make it a criminal matter. According to Ohr, Steele was “desperate” to defeat Trump and viewed his dossier as raw intelligence that was not verified. To augment that research, the Clinton campaign had a Democratic operative working with Ukraine’s embassy in Washington to research Trump’s Russia ties, as well as a Ukrainian lawmaker feeding information to Fusion GPS.

In other words, the main evidence used by the FBI to justify a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on the Trump campaign in its final weeks before the 2016 election, and for much of 2017, came from a political dirty-trick operation paid by Trump’s Democratic rival and run by a foreigner who disliked Trump.

5:30 PM ET – Herschel Walker, former NFL player for the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants (as well as former bobsledder, sprinter, and mixed martial artist). Herschel now works with President Trump’s administration on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, urging every day American to live healthier lifestyles. Herschel is here to talk about his efforts in the White House to improve the health of the average American, and he also has plenty to say about the reactions of the mainstream media to all things President Trump.
