SMOKING GUN: US Says IRANIAN FINGERPRINTS All Over Terror Weapons

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.14.17

US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley blasted Iranian officials and their Revolutionary Guard on Thursday, saying the Islamic Republic’s “fingerprints” can be seen in “war zones” and “terror groups” throughout the Middle East.

Haley directly accused the Iranian regime of blatantly violating international law, saying their leaders were actively funneling missiles and other advanced weaponry to rebels in Yemen and other terror organizations operating in the region.

“Its ballistic missiles and advanced weapons are turning up in war zones across the region,” Haley said at an event in the nation’s capital. “It’s hard to find a conflict or a terrorist group in the Middle East that does not have Iran’s fingerprints all over it.”

“It tells the story of Iran as the arsonist. The report shows the Tehran regime not putting out fires, but fanning the flames of conflict in the region,” Haley added. “In its strongest language yet, the secretary general’s report shows violation after violation of weapons transfers and ballistic missile activity. The United States welcomes this report, as should every nation concerned about uranium expansion.”

Haley’s comments come months after President Trump refused to re-certify the Iranian Nuclear Agreement, saying the regime was not cooperating with the international mandate and was secretly resuming its attempts to develop a nuclear weapon.

NO DEAL: President Trump Decertifies Iran Nuclear Agreement

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.13.17

President Donald Trump announced Friday that the United States would not certify the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal struck by his predecessor, claiming that the “rogue regime” in Iran was circumventing the agreement and had committed “multiple violations” included in the accord.

“I am announcing today that we cannot and will not make this certification,” said the President while addressing the nation from the White House. “We will not continue down a path whose predictable conclusion is more violence, more terror, and the very real threat of Iran’s nuclear breakthrough.”

“In the event we are not able to reach a solution working with Congress and our allies, the agreement will be terminated […] It is under continuous review and our participation can be canceled by me as president at any time,” he added.

“Execution of our strategy begins with a long overdue step of imposing tough sanctions on Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” said the President. “The revolutionary guard is the Iranian supreme leader’s corrupt personal terror force and militia.”

The decision to re-impose the harsh sanctions put in place before the Iranian nuclear deal is now before Congress, who have the authority to slap the Iranian regime and their Revolutionary Guard with crippling economic penalties.

“Lawmakers need to do now what we couldn’t do two years ago: unite around an Iran strategy that truly stops Iran’s nuclear weapons program and empowers the United States and our allies to combat the full spectrum of Iran’s imperial aggression,” said GOP Congressman Sen. Tom Cotton.

TEHRAN'S TOUGH TALK: Iran Threatens to Strike U.S. Bases in the Middle East

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.07.17

A senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard official warned the United States that Tehran possesses the advanced missile technology needed to strike American military bases throughout the Middle East, adding their rockets could “strike targets” over 2,000km away.

The head of the IRGC made the unprovoked warning earlier Tuesday, saying any aggression by the United States or Israel in the region would be “responded” to with a barrage of Iranian medium-range ballistic missiles.

“Based on the policies specified by the Leader [Ayatollah Khamenei], the range of our missiles is limited to 2,000km, but we have the capability to increase the range,” IRGC Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari said. “At present it [this distance] is sufficient because the Americans are in a 2,000 km radius from our country and their attacks will be responded.”

Tensions between Washington and Tehran are at an all-time high after President Trump announced earlier this month that his administration would not certify the Iranian nuclear agreement; imposing harsh sanctions and new restrictions on the already-isolated Islamic republic.

“I am authorizing the Treasury Department to further sanction the entire Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for its support for terrorism and to apply sanctions to its officials, agents, and affiliates,” said the President. “I urge our allies to join us in taking strong actions to curb Iran’s continued dangerous and destabilizing behavior.”
