STILL WITH HER: Hillary to Play ‘Major Role’ in 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.23.18

Republican strategists across America are plotting a potential “red tide” during the upcoming 2018 midterm elections and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is poised to play a starring role.

According to Fox News, GOP candidates and campaigns plan to use both Hillary Clinton and House Minority Nancy Pelosi as tools to motivate their conservative base; tying nationwide candidates to the two widely unpopular public figures.

“We’re going to make them own her,” Republican National Committee spokesman Rick Gorka said.

“The strategy, which already has popped up in races in Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Dakota, illustrates the resilience and political potency of Republican voters’ antipathy for Clinton,” writes Fox News.

“I promise you that you’ll continue to see it — Hillary Clinton starring in our paid media. She’s a very powerful motivator,” added Corry Bliss, head of the Congressional Leadership Fund.

CLINTON CHAOS: Ellison DODGES on Hillary's Role in 2018 MIDTERMS

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.02.18

Democratic National Committee Deputy Director Keith Ellison refused to answer questions surrounding Hillary Clinton’s role in the 2018 midterm elections Monday; deflecting the issue and saying the liberal message is more than “one person’s comments.”

“Republicans think Hillary Clinton is going to be a weapon for them because of those comments she made a few weeks ago about Trump areas in the country being backward-looking,” said MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki.

“The road to a House majority goes through some places that Donald Trump won. Those comments from Hillary Clinton, are they going to hurt you at all?” he asked.

“We’re going to focus on working-class, kitchen-table issues,” deflected Ellison. “People want to talk about pensions, wages, people want to know if they get a job will they get a livable wage?”

“I take the point, but the Republicans are saying your message is going to be undercut because of [Hillary’s comments.] Is that going to hurt you? Do you want her out there campaigning for Democrats?” he pressed.

“I don’t think one comment that one person makes is the issue. People want to know: What are you doing for us?” said Ellison.

DNC DISASTER: Democrats BORROW $2 MILLION Just Months Before 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.21.18

The Democratic National Committee is in tough shape heading into the 2018 midterms; with recent FEC filings revealing the party borrowed nearly $2 million in loans this February, just months before the nation heads to the polls.

Political infighting, Hillary Clinton’s attack on “white women,” and the party’s ongoing relationship with anti-Semitic leader Louis Farrakhan all translated into a dismal fundraising effort in February; raking in just $7 million while their GOP opponents raised nearly $13 million.

“I knew if I had money — first of all, if you have money, you have power, and if you have money, you have a seat at the table,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel told Politico. “If you focus on the fundraising and you do well there, then you get a lot of credibility in a town that didn’t know who I was.”

The chairwoman has her sights firmly set on the 2018 midterms, saying “Their first midterm, they usually lose seats […] We understand that, and so we’ve been preparing for that all year.”
