TERRORIST’S ADVICE: 9/11 Mastermind Comes Out AGAINST Trump’s CIA Nominee

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.09.18

The alleged mastermind behind the September 11th terror attacks came out against President Trump’s pick to head the CIA this week; providing a hand-written document he hopes to share with Congressional leaders.

Al Qaeda terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed -the group’s leader believed to be the organizer behind the suicide attacks- asked US officials at Guantanamo Bay to deliver his letter to the Senators as they vote to confirm Gina Haspel as the director of the CIA.

“Both Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the Democrats question whether Haspel, a longtime CIA agent, is fit to run the agency given her involvement in the torture of prisoners following the attacks in 2001,” writes Fox News. “Haspel is due to appear Wednesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee for her confirmation hearing.”

The al-Qaeda leader, captured in March 2003, reportedly wrote “six specific paragraphs of information” regarding Haspel, but officials were “not able to describe the information” at this time.

GOP GOES NUCLEAR? Republican Senators May ‘GO NUCLEAR’ On Trump Nominees

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.26.18

Senate Republicans are prepared to “go nuclear” against their Democratic colleagues and amend congressional rules to approve a slate of President Trump’s political appointments; vowing to end a “partisan debacle” that has derailed the nomination process.

“It’s time to end this partisan spectacle. We have 78 more nominees for various jobs who’ve made it through their committee hearings and are waiting for a vote on this floor,” said Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming. “Most of these people have bipartisan support, they can be confirmed easily.”

“It’s time to return to the rules for debating nominations that the Senate used four years ago … Democrats controlled the Senate at the time – and a Democrat was making the nominations, that was President Obama,” Barrasso added.

The GOP leadership is considering changing procedural rules that allow for “30 hours” of “Senate discussions” for every single political appointee; effectively allowing a handful of Democrats to disrupt the entire process and delay the process for months.

ANOTHER EXCUSE: Politico Blames Hillary's ELECTION DISASTER On... Local Newspapers?

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.09.18

Online magazine Politico achieved the impossible this weekend, finding a completely new excuse for Hillary Clinton’s surprise defeat to Donald Trump in November 2016; this time blaming “newspaper subscriptions” for the electoral landslide.

Politico published an article Sunday titled, “Trump thrives in areas that lack traditional news outlets,” suggesting the President was able to “Swamp Clinton” in areas that had low subscription rates to local newspapers.

The data suggests those voters relied on national news outlets and social media for information instead of more traditional media outlets such as newspapers and local television reports.

“President Donald Trump’s attacks on the mainstream media may be rooted in statistical reality: An extensive review of subscription data and election results shows that Trump outperformed the previous Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, in counties with the lowest numbers of news subscribers, but didn’t do nearly as well in areas with heavier circulation,” writes the author.

“The results show a clear correlation between low subscription rates and Trump’s success in the 2016 election, both against Hillary Clinton and when compared to Romney in 2012,” adds the article.
