THE PURGE: Democratic Woman QUITS HOUSE RACE Over Sexual Accusations

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.15.17

A democratic hopeful running for Kansas’ 3rd district in the House of Representatives suddenly dropped out of the race Friday, after allegations surfaced that she sexually harassed a male subordinate back in 2005.

According to the Kansas City Star, the Democratic Party pulled the plug on 56-year old Andrea Ramsey’s House bid after news of her lawsuit broke on the internet. The paperwork shows Ramsey was accused of harassing a male employee during her tenure at LabOne; a company where she served as an executive vice president.

While Ramsey denies the charges, her campaign released a statement citing the Democratic Party’s “zero tolerance standard,” adding that “we are in a national moment where rough justice stands in the place of careful analysis.”

“In its rush to claim the high ground in our roiling national conversation about harassment, the Democratic Party has implemented a zero tolerance standard,” Ramsey said, “For me, that means a vindictive, terminated employee’s false allegations are enough for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to decide not to support our promising campaign. We are in a national moment where rough justice stands in place of careful analysis, nuance and due process.”

Ramsey is the latest politician to resign or be forced from the national stage over allegations of sexual misconduct. Earlier this month, Sen. Al Franken announced his resignation from Congress following reports that he “groped” and forcibly kissed multiple women.

Matt Lauer FIRED from NBC over Sex Accusation

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.29.17

‘Today’ show co-host Matt Lauer was officially fired from NBC News Wednesday after a woman accused the iconic anchorman of “inappropriate sexual behavior,” making Lauer the most recent high-profile celebrity to be ousted over sexual harassment allegations.

Co-host Savannah Guthrie announced the network’s decision on the ‘Today’ show Wednesday morning, saying “This is a sad morning here at ‘Today’ and at NBC News.”

“As I’m sure you can imagine, we are devastated and we are still processing all of this,” she added.

The network released a statement just moments before the ‘Today’ show was set to air, saying this was the first accusation against Lauer in his twenty-year career at NBC News; adding after “serious review” the reporter committed a “clear violation of our company standards.”

“Dear colleagues, on Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer,” read the statement. “It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company’s standards. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment.”

SEE YA: Charlie Rose TERMINATED at CBS over Sex Scandal

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.15.17

CBS host and legendary journalist Charlie Rose was fired from CBS News on Tuesday after multiple reports of sexual misconduct and harassment came to light this week, with the network releasing a statement saying they “terminated” Rose for his “extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior.”

“A short time ago we terminated Charlie Rose’s employment with CBS News, effective immediately,” said CBS News President David Rhodes. “This followed the revelation yesterday of extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior said to have revolved around his PBS program.”

“Despite Charlie’s important journalistic contribution to our news division, there is absolutely nothing more important, in this or any organization, than ensuring a safe, professional workplace — a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work. We need to be such a place,” he added.

Rose, who is 75-years-old, released a statement regarding the accusations, saying he was “embarrassed” but claimed “not all of these allegations are accurate.”

“I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate,” said Rose. “I always felt that I pursued shared feelings though I now realize that I was mistaken.”
