THE WEST WING: Kanye West, Trump Discuss Prison Reform, Chicago Inside Oval Office

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.11.18

Iconic musician and outspoken Trump-supporter Kanye West had his first official meeting with the President inside the Oval Office Thursday; discussing prison reform, gun violence, manufacturing jobs and more.

West -wearing his coveted ‘Make America Great Again’ cap- spoke with Trump and reporters during the high-energy meeting; saying he’s been routinely intimidated into abandoning his support for the Commander-in-Chief.

“They tried to scare me to not wear this hat,” West said. “When I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman – my favorite superhero. You made a Superman cape for me.”

“When we make everything in China and not America, we’re cheating on our country,” he added.

“Illegal guns is the problem, not legal guns, we have the right to bear arms,” West said of the Second Amendment.

THE WEST WING: Kanye to Meet with Trump, Kushner at White House Thursday

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.09.18

Iconic musician and pro-Trump rapper Kanye West is scheduled to meet with the President and Jared Kushner this week; focusing on prison reform, manufacturing, and gun violence in Chicago and other cities across the United States.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed the face-to-face meeting Tuesday, saying “Topics of discussions will include manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence, and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago.”

The Commander-in-Chief weighed-in on Chicago’s escalating gun crisis during a trip to Florida just days ago.

“I’ve told them to work with local authorities to try to change the terrible deal the city of Chicago entered into with ACLU, which ties law enforcement’s hands; and to strongly consider stop-and-frisk,” said Trump this week during a speech in Orlando. “It works, and it was meant for problems like Chicago. It was meant for it. Stop-and-frisk.”

The musician and fashion designer doubled-down on his support for President Trump during a recent performance on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ saying “If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don’t have to believe in all they policies.”

BERNIE’S BACK! The Socialist Senator HITS THE CAMPAIGN Trail in Iowa

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.13.18

Vermont Senator and former presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is back in Iowa, campaigning for a former staffer running for Congress in the pivotal state and raising new questions about a possible run for the White House in 2020.

According to the Des Moines Register, the socialist Senator will deliver the keynote speech at an event for Democrat Pete D’Alessandro later this month; marking the third time Sanders has returned to the state since his failed bid for the Oval Office in 2016.

“Bernie knows that we need bold, progressive leaders in Congress if we’re going to change the direction of our country,” said D’Alessandro. “That’s why I’m proudly supporting Medicare for All, a $15/hour living wage, and free college tuition for those who work hard. We can take our country back and continue the movement Bernie started here in 2016.”

While the Senator has remained quiet about another run for the White House, he continues to lead fellow Democrats in recent polling.

The hyper-liberal Congressman still receives high-levels of support from the progressive wing of the Democratic party, many of whom feel the Senator faced an unfair fight against Hillary Clinton during the 2016 primaries.
