TRUMP UNLEASHED: The President SLAMS California Governor Over National Guard

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.17.18

President Trump unloaded on California Governor Jerry Brown Tuesday, slamming the liberal leader after he banned members of his National Guard from enforcing “federal immigration” laws along the southern border.

The Commander-in-Chief vented his frustration with Brown on twitter, saying the governor was “not looking out for the safety and security” of his residents as homelessness and crime rates soar throughout the region.

“Looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety and security along their very porous Border. He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border. The high crime rate will only get higher. Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!” Trump tweeted.

The President’s comments come just days after Governor Brown announced none of this 400 troops would aide border patrol agents in clamping down on illegal crossings; barring the soldiers from patrols, surveillance sweeps, and other security protocols.

ALL OUT WAR: Governor Brown Says TRUMP 'AT WAR' with the State of California

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.18

California Governor Jerry Brown slammed the Trump administration Wednesday afternoon following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ address to law enforcement officials in Sacramento; saying the White House has declared “war” against his state.

The Governor was speaking with reporters at the state Capitol when he viciously attacked Sessions’ remarks, claiming it was “unprecedented” that the federal government would “basically go to war” against California.

“This is really unprecedented for the chief law enforcement officer of the United States to come out to California and act more like Fox News than a law enforcement officer. This is a political stunt,” said the liberal leader. “We know the Trump administration is full of liars. They’ve pled guilty already to the special counsel.”

“This is basically going to war against the state of California, the engine of the American economy. It’s not wise, it’s not right, and it will not stand,” Brown added.

The Governor’s harsh rhetoric was a stark rebuke to the Attorney General’s comments from earlier Wednesday, when the nation’s top law enforcement official re-affirmed that “federal law” is the “supreme law of the land.”

“There is no nullification. There is no secession. Federal law is the supreme law of the land. I would invite any doubters to go to Gettysburg, to the tombstones of John C. Calhoun and Abraham Lincoln. This matter has been settled,” Sessions said.

BORDER CHAOS: California BANS TROOPS from Helping Border Patrol Agents

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.16.18

The government of California officially rebuked the Trump administration’s decision to deploy the National Guard to the southern border Monday; saying federal plans had their troops working “too closely” with immigration enforcement.

According to the Associated Press, state officials notified federal authorities that deployed soldiers will be prohibited from tackling duties seen as cracking down on illegal immigration: including fixing border patrol vehicles, operating surveillance cameras, and monitoring radio transmissions.

Last week, Governor Jerry Brown confirmed that he was willing to deploy upwards of 400 troops to the United States’ border with Mexico, but added the service members would be prohibited from aiding federal agents in stemming the flow of people across the border.

“This will not be a mission to build a new wall,” Brown wrote. “It will not be a mission to round up women and children or detain people escaping violence and seeking a better life. And the California National Guard will not be enforcing federal immigration laws.”
