Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock reportedly ranted about ‘FEMA Camps’ and the deadly Waco response to strangers just days before he opened fire from his hotel suite into a crowd of concert goers; killing 58 people and injuring hundreds.
According to Fox News, a man currently in custody gave a statement to federal investigators late last year; claiming Paddock told him FEMA was constructing “secret camps” in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina as a “dry run for law enforcement and military to start kickin’ down doors and…confiscating guns.”
“Somebody has to wake up the American public and get them to arm themselves,” the unidentified man claims Paddock said just one month before his deadly assault on the Las Vegas strip. “Sometimes sacrifices have to be made.”
The revelation sheds new light and a possible motivation for the deadliest mass shooting in American history.
The investigation has come under fire in recent months, with few clues and a changing timeline sparking confusion and questions over how Paddock was able to carry out his devastating assault.
