President Donald Trump trashed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s “pathetic crumbs” comments on Thursday, equating the former Speaker’s delusional rhetoric with Hillary Clinton’s much-maligned “deplorables” speech during the 2016 election.
The President was speaking with Republicans at a retreat in West Virginia where he touted the higher wages and big bonuses paid out in the aftermath of the GOP tax cuts; blasting Pelosi’s out-of-touch response to the booming US economy.
“We were waiting until February, and then we got hit with these corporations giving tremendous bonuses to everybody that Nancy Pelosi called ‘crumbs.’ That was bad That could be like ‘deplorable.’ Does that make sense? Trump asked.
“Deplorable and crumbs? Those two words, they seem to have a resemblance. I hope it has the same meaning. She called it crumbs when people are getting $2,000, $3,000… that’s not crumbs that’s a lot money.”

DEMOCRAT DELUSION: Schumer Calls Big Bonuses 'CRUMBS' for Working Families
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer doubled-down on Democratic talking points regarding the recently passed GOP tax cuts on Friday; echoing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s non-stop insistence that increased wages and big bonuses were simply “pathetic crumbs” given to American workers.
Schumer was speaking on the Senate floor when he predictably attacked the GOP-led tax overhaul, saying middle-class Americans were “getting crumbs” while large companies and corporations were getting “nice fat pieces of pie.”
“When the American people learn that some of them are not getting anything, some of them are getting raises, and the rest are getting crumbs; and big corporations and wealthy individuals are getting nice, fat pieces of pie… they’re going to be outraged,” said Schumer. “They are already.”
The Minority Leader’s comments come as the nation’s largest corporations announce their plans to reinvest in the United States and pay out big bonuses and higher wages to American-based workers.
This week, Home Depot joined AT&T, Visa, Walmart, American Airlines, Disney, and other companies pledging to expand benefits and raise earnings after President Trump signed the sweeping overhaul of the nation’s outdated tax code into law.

OUCH: Kellyanne Conway DESTROYS Pelosi’s ‘Pathetic Crumbs’ Comment
Senior Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway didn’t mince words when weighing-in on the unprecedented economic growth seen under the first year of President Trump’s administration; blasting Nancy Pelosi’s “crumbs” comment and calling increased wages “real bread” for American workers.
Conway was discussing Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s recent tweet touting the impact of the recent GOP tax cuts, saying “To date, more than 2.6 million employees from a growing list of 160 companies are due extra pay and increased benefits, directly as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”
