WEST COAST REVOLT: California City REJECTS 'Sanctuary' Nightmare

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.17.18

The southern California city of Los Alamitos -the first municipality to opt-out of the state’s ‘Sanctuary’ laws- voted again Monday to rebuke the “unconstitutional” guidelines; finalizing the town’s new policies after an intense five-hour debate.

The city council voted 4-1 to this week to officially reject the Golden State’s controversial law that prohibits local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration agents.

“It is the second time the council voted in favor of the ordinance as the city’s laws required the council to have a second reading of the measure before officially approving it,” writes Fox News.

The American Civil Liberties Union slammed the vote late Monday evening, calling the move a “blatant violation” of the town’s “obligation” to follow the state’s mandate on illegal immigration.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Local Community FIGHTS BACK Against ‘Sanctuary’ TENT CITY

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.18

Local residents in southern California are fighting back against a two-mile long stretch of makeshift homeless shelters in Orange County; demanding officials crackdown on “human waste” and “used needles” that riddle the encampment, reports Fox News.

In stark contrast from local governments in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Orange County authorities are beginning to clamp down on the tent city, describing the “illegal” housing as a major public health concern.

“It’s becoming part of the permanent landscape in those communities and there is no way we are going to allow Orange County land that is supposed to be used by residents to be occupied by the homeless,” said a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

In response to public pressure, the county council cleared nearly 25 tons of trash, over 1,000 pounds of “human waste” and over 5,000 needles from the camp.

The ACLU and other human rights activists have denounced the move, filing a civil rights lawsuit to stop the county’s crackdown after the decision was officially approved by the council.

‘That isn’t going to happen in our county. It’s not going to be our skid row,” added the Orange County supervisor.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: The White House SUES California Over ‘Sanctuary City’ Nightmare

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.18

The Trump administration announced this week its plans to sue the state of California over their flat-out refusal to cooperate with at least three recently-passed immigration statutes; claiming local law enforcement was “interfering” with federal policy regarding undocumented workers, reports Fox News.

“The Department of Justice and the Trump Administration are going to fight these unjust, unfair, and unconstitutional policies,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Wednesday. “We are fighting to make your jobs safer and to help you reduce crime in America.”

California’s Governor Jerry Brown fired-back at Sessions, saying “At a time of unprecedented political turmoil, Jeff Sessions has come to California to further divide and polarize America. Jeff, these political stunts may be the norm in Washington, but they don’t work here.”

The legal fight between the state and the Trump administration comes just days after the liberal mayor of Oakland warned illegal immigrants of impending ICE sweeps throughout the Bay Area.

US officials believe her “outrageous” announcement allowed nearly 800 illegal immigrants -some with criminal convictions- to evade capture from federal agents.
